PREP: 15 MINS COOK: 15 MINS
Method
Mix together 350g flour, 2 ¾ tsp baking powder and 1 tsp salt in a small bowl.
Once mixed, add 1 tbsp oil and about 170ml water then stir until it forms a ball. If the dough mix is stiff, add more water, it should be soft but not sticky. The baking powder has replaced the yeast and so does not need to rest.
Take the dough out and knead thoroughly on a floured surface for a few minutes. If you want smaller pizza’s you can at this point cut the mix up into smaller rolls. In the video I cut mine into four. Use a rolling pin to flatten and roll the dough out until it is about half a centimeter thick.
You can roll it out into any shape you like, I like the rustic home-made look.
Add whatever toppings you prefer and place on a baking sheet and put in a (180deg ) pre-heated oven for 15 mins.
Check to make sure the pizza and toppings have cooked and adjust as necessary before serving.
Enjoy!
